Expanding the African Footprint: ZW Group Visits the Embassy of Cameroon in China to Discuss Strategic Cooperation

In June 2026, a delegation from ZW Group, led by Manager Kiyya Zhang, paid a business visit to the Embassy of Cameroon in China. As a leading enterprise deeply rooted in the African truck export sector, ZW Group’s proactive visit to the Cameroonian embassy marks a significant step forward. Building on its established presence in the West African market, the Group is now accelerating its expansion into key logistics hub markets across Central Africa and the Atlantic coast.

Precision Alignment: Partnering with the "Gateway to Central Africa" to Empower Local Transport and Logistics

Thanks to its unique geographical location, Cameroon is known as the "Crossroads of Central Africa" and serves as a vital transportation and trade hub for the region. During the meeting, Manager Kiyya Zhang detailed ZW Group’s successful track record in the African truck trade, its core product advantages, and its comprehensive overseas after-sales service system.

Manager Zhang stated:

"Cameroon possesses immense economic potential and a robust demand for infrastructure development. ZW Group is committed not only to bringing high-quality, high-performance Chinese heavy-duty trucks and logistics equipment to Cameroon but also to effectively addressing local road transport challenges through technology transfer and localized services—thereby providing 'heavy-duty empowerment' for Cameroon’s economic takeoff."

Forging a Win-Win Partnership: Combining Policy Incentives with Corporate Strength

Embassy officials warmly welcomed the ZW Group delegation and highly commended the company's long-standing achievements in the African commercial vehicle trade sector.

During the discussion, embassy representatives outlined the latest preferential policies regarding industrial manufacturing, transportation, and foreign investment in Cameroon. Officials noted that the country is vigorously advancing its infrastructure development and has an urgent need for reliable, durable commercial trucks and construction vehicles. The Embassy will actively serve as a bridge, fully supporting ZW Group’s business operations in Cameroon and facilitating connections with strong local partners in logistics, construction, and trade.

The two sides also conducted a comprehensive feasibility discussion regarding long-term plans to establish facilities in Cameroon, such as overseas warehouses for trucks, after-sales service centers, and technical training bases.

This visit to the Embassy of Cameroon in China marks another solid step for ZW Group in implementing its strategy of "deeply cultivating the African market for steady, long-term growth." Moving forward, ZW Group will align closely with the "Belt and Road Initiative," leveraging Cameroon as a key strategic pivot to consistently deliver high-quality truck products and supply chain solutions to the region, thereby writing a new chapter in China-Africa economic and trade cooperation based on mutual benefit.
